President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has granted Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Othman, Qatar's Ambassador to the UAE, and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, the Zayed Medal: First Class, in recognition of the efforts the ambassador made during his tenure in the country which contributed to the development and strengthening of fraternal relations between the two nations.
H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, awarded the medal to the ambassador on behalf of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during a meeting at the Deputy Prime Minister's office today.
H.H. congratulated the Ambassador on winning the medal, which is the highest honour given to ambassadors, and wished him success in his future assignments.
The Qatari Ambassador expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, praising his wise leadership regionally and internationally. He also thanked all government agencies in the country on the cooperation he received, saying that it had a positive impact on the success of his mission in strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries.
The meeting was attended by Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Deputy Minister of Presidential Affairs, Ahmed Mohammed Al Humairi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, Hamad Abdul Rahman al-Madfa, Secretary-General for the Supreme Council of the Union in the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and Ali Salem Al Kaabi, Director of the Office of the Minister of Presidential Affairs.
