H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, has received a delegation of the Federal Customs Authority led by its chairman Ali Mohammad Subaih Al Ka'abi, at the Presidential Palace.
Sheikh Mansour was briefed about the initiatives and development projects carried out by the authority, and its role to promote trade and support national economic development.
Sheikh Mansour emphasised the significant role played by the authority to preserve safety and security of the community. He also lauded efforts to develop customs work in the country.
He stressed the importance of coordination and integration among all competent departments in the customs field, double efforts and leverage the level of competency to keep pace with the latest global standards and to be on par with the overall development witnessed by the UAE in all sectors.
Al Ka'abi extended thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Mansour for his care and attention, saying it will contribute to enhancing capabilities of the authority.
The meeting was attended by Ahmed Juma Al Za'abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs; Obaid bin Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs and Rashid Saeed Al Ameri, Under-Secretary for Government Coordination Sector at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.
