H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, today honoured the winners of the 1st edition of the Emirates Award for Human Resources in the Federal Government at the Presidential Palace.
The Award, launched by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources in 2014, is organised under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour.
Sheikh Mansour said that the Award is seen as part of the vision of the wise leadership of the UAE, represented in President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, which gives much attention to the human resources.
He also pointed out that the UAE gives priority to human resources in its approach in ensuring overall sustainable development and considers it a prominent factor that contributes to the success of the country and ensure excellence when it comes to global competitiveness.
He also lauded the performance of ministries, federal departments, and the adopted systems, policies and legislation regarding human resources.
Sheikh Mansour congratulated the winning departments, ministries, authorities and individuals, and said, "We want outstanding employees who always work to achieve the UAE's vision and meet the aspirations of the wise leadership." Among those who attended the ceremony were Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, Saqr bin Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, Minister of Labour, Sultan bin Saeed Al Badi, Minister of Justice, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Public Works and others.
Sheikh Mansour honoured winners of the Award from various ministries and departments.
