Federal Authority for Human Resources (FAHR) launches ‘Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Award for Best Research in the Field of Human Resources’


The Federal Authority for Human Resources (FAHR) launched the 'Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Award for the Best Research in the Field of Human Resources'.  The Award aims to target university staff and students, as well as public and private higher education institutions accredited in the United Arab Emirates.  

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, affirmed that the UAE's most important investment is its human capital, and said that developing human resources is the main priority of the UAE's wise leadership.  Sheikh Mansour said that national human resources represent the main driver to achieve comprehensive sustainable development.  

HH Sheikh Mansour said, "Since the time of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE has remained committed to the education, training and empowerment of its citizens, and continues to provide them with all the facilities of well-being, success, and excellence."  Indeed, the UAE has achieved high-ranking positions in terms of competitiveness, and the wise leadership is counting on its people for achieving further success in all fields of development.  

Praising the advanced human resources systems and legislation in the federal government, which are based on best international practice, His Highness explained that these systems were the fruit of thoughtful research and rational studies, and that they will satisfy the needs of successive generations in the civil service of the country.  He went on to stress the importance of the role played by young people in achieving the vision of the state and its national agenda.  

HH Sheikh Mansour affirmed the importance of investing in the capabilities of young people and motivating them to conduct scientific and academic research, and to develop creative solutions, in order to keep pace with the fourth industrial revolution and to envisage a bright future, in line with the UAE's future trends and progress.
