Five new judges took oath today before the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judiciary Department, H.H Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The swearing in ceremony was held at the Presidential Palace in the presence of senior officials.
After the ceremony, Sheikh Mansour stressed the keenness of President H.H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the rule of law and prevalence of justice, being the cornerstones of the country's economic, social and security stability, noting that the strategy of the Department aims at building an effective and efficient judicial system.
He also welcomed the new judges to the emirate's judiciary system, wishing them good luck and success to perform their sublime duty of upholding justice and rule of law.
On their part, the judges expressed their appreciation to the confidence bestowed on them by the U.A.E. President, pledging that they would enforce the law and abide by the constitution.
