H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of the Ministerial Council for Services, has congratulated Emiratis on the advent of the 42nd National Day anniversary.
Sheikh Mansour made the remark today at the Presidential Palace while chairing the Ministerial Council for Services' meeting. The Council discussed a number of issues and took appropriate decisions.
H.H. Sheikh Mansour said the U.A.E. government and people are so happy to mark National Day and see Emirati youth wearing the U.A.E. flag, urging Emiratis to continue the celebrations.
Sheikh Mansour stressed that the Cabinet is the only competent authority in charge of flag protocol and its uses during the National Day celebrations and other occasions, noting that no other authority is entitled to make any comments in this regard.
The Council discussed a memo submitted by the General Authority for Youth and Sports on a proposal to set up the Emirates Centre for Sports Arbitration to address legal, administrative, technical and financial issues in the sports sector. It was also briefed on a memo submitted by the Ministry of Economy on setting up a patent centre.
The Council was briefed on the recommendation from the Federal National Council on the policy of the Ministry of Health on development of the health sector nationwide and promotion of scientific research.
